The dress took about 21 yards of fabric.
It has about 1000 fuchsia rhinestones. It needs more.
I love the straw hat. It frames her face so nicely.
I hand stitched and then glued the silk flowers to the dress.
The underskirt has about 35 yards of lace.
I added lace to the umbrella edge to match the other lace.
She wears regular ballet slippers with lace and bows attached. They're almost historically
accurate!
The top needed to be lined.
The corset is Stormys. She's had it for years and by coincidence it matches the costume.
I added the stones. We both designed the stone placement. They fade from crystal to
pink to blue in about 6 different shades.
This move looks great on stage.
The new, and still unfinished, silk cage crinoline.
The corset sparkliness is blinding with all those stones.
We found the rhinestone necklace, earrings, bra and garter skirt in the first boutique
lingerie store we walked into.
I added vintage pink lace that Rick found in South Carolina. Real southern belle lace!
I also added about 500 stones in 5 different colors to the bra and skirt.
The lace on the g-string and stockings ties it all in.
